VILLAGE ARCHAEOLOGY IN THE ÎLE-DE-FRANCE:
the example of the village of Tremblay-en-France (Seine-Saint-Denis)

 

Abstract

Urban development of the village of Tremblay-en-France, which possesses a well-preserved rural architectural heritage, has generated numerous archaeological excavations. The village is well-documented historically and constitutes a "test site" in an area undergoing substantial transformation and densification.
